The Rada Academy Hair Design and Makeup Artistry Program are committed to delivering excellent education. Through comprehensive theoretical and hands-on training by our award-winning instructors, you will learn how to develop your hair design, makeup artistry skills. Our Academy setting is designed to teach our students the vast opportunities of working in the beauty industry. Our goal is to equip you with the essential skills and techniques necessary to shine in the world of beauty, advance hairstyling, makeup, bridal, fashion, television and editorial styling.

In-Class Hair Artist Program

In our hair design course, we will be covering basic to elaborate hair curling, styling and pinning techniques. The students will learn how to prep the hair for the desired hairstyle. Students will gain the knowledge of hairstyling procedures on all the hair types. We will provide the knowledge of all the hair styling tools and how to use all the professional hair products. Students will work together with the instructor one on one and will practice all the learning tasks on their hair mannequins.

  • You will learn and practice 5 Non-bridal and bridal Hair Design looks

  • Preparation of the hair, including hot tools knowledge of curling the hair with curling irons, flat irons, and hot rollers

  • Working with real clip in extensions, synthetic hairpieces and custom hair stuffing pieces

  • Half up and down and full down hairstyles

  • High and low, side-swept, chignon hairstyles

  • Braid/prandi hair styles

  • How to use ornamentation, flowers and traditional jewelry to enhance and finish the hairstyles

In-Class Makeup Artist Program

This specialized course on makeup artistry covers soft, casual daytime looks to glamorous evening makeup techniques. You will learn fundamental makeup methods in a step by step manner. This course will educate you with a knowledge of all skin types. With our clear and hands-on instructions, you will acquire expertise in foundation application, highlighting & contouring, including concealing the under-eye area and balancing hyper-pigmented skin. Our award-winning instructors will teach you face makeup application and blending of eye shadow colors,while also teaching liquid and pencil eyeliner methods to refine the look of your client. you will learn how to enhance and expand your knowledge of current beauty products and techniques to perform makeup services on clientele of various age groups.
